Photo Feature: LA Street Art

Take a walk down any main street near Downtown Los Angeles, and you’ll surely see an array of vibrant murals and graffiti adorning the walls of countless buildings you pass. LA is known for its mural culture and streetside creativity. There are few other places in the nation with more volume or diversity of street art than the City of Angels. Accordingly, it has earned the distinction of being called the “Mural Capital of America.” Recently, I took a walk through downtown and other surrounding neighborhoods on a sunny Thursday afternoon, with a camera in hand and eyes peeled for spray paint and brick walls.
