Justice On Tap: A Monologue & Discussion on Domestic Violence Awareness
Justice On Tap puts the “social” in “social justice” by uplifting the social justice work happening in our community and connecting students, staff, and faculty with social justice advocates on the Bluff and beyond. This Justice On Tap will host “Flowers Aren’t Enough,” a monologue that tells the story of Michal, a young woman from an upper-middle-class family who finds herself in an abusive relationship, and will be followed by a discussion facilitated by Naomi Ackerman, the founder and executive director of Advot, a local nonprofit that uses artistic exploration to empower young people to grow into courageous and effective self-advocates (6-8 pm at the Living Room).

SFTV’s Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour: “Nosferatu”
For the eighth time, Il Cinema Ritrovato on Tour will return to LMU to present renowned heritage films from France, Italy, Germany, Spain and the United States, all digitally restored. The titles have been carefully chosen by Guy Borlée, Il Cinema Ritrovato’s festival coordinator, and Carla Marcantonio, Associate Dean of SFTV and Associate Professor of Film, Television, and Media Studies (12:30 pm at the Mayer Theater).
