I’m glad to hear you’re looking at internships! It’s a great way to get experience for post-grad opportunities. I would definitely recommend using resources at LMU, such as Career & Professional Development! They’re really helpful when it comes to finding the right place for you. They also have lots of resources on their site for building resumes and cover letters. If you haven’t already, I would set up an account on Handshake, LinkedIn, and anything that can help you get out there! Apply for as much as you can. You can do a lot with an English degree, so whatever opportunities come your way are worth considering, even if you don’t think they’re for you! There are also a lot of volunteer opportunities on campus that can help you gain experience and figure out what you enjoy. Check LEO often! Best of luck on your search!
