After frantically picking up their wristbands in the days leading up to the semester’s most anticipated night, Loyola Marymount University students finally got their dream Fallapalooza. Hosted by ASLMU on Alumni Mall, organizers turned it up a notch on Oct. 4, 2026. Upon opening the doors, attendees enjoyed a refreshing change of pace, featuring five unique campus food trucks, six student vendors, and water stations as a welcome relief during the blistering 90-degree heatwave.
Driving the highest attendance numbers of the decade for a Fallapalooza, students arrived early to secure spots at the front. The festival delivered booming bass and standout rap and R&B melodies from artists including returning student opener Cameryn D. Starr and TikTok sensation Zeddy Will, who performed a second set to keep the crowd energized while they waited for the headliner, Swae Lee. With over 11 million Instagram followers and over 50 million monthly listeners on Spotify, Swae Lee brought the crowd into a major frenzy of feel-good memories as the night closed on a successful Falla. – Brandon Molina, Community Engagement Director
